Recruit Class 58: Week 1

Recruit Class 58 completed their first week of the Fire academy last week. The 22 newest members of Cobb Fire went through an orientation week, filled with county classes that set the foundation to their careers. On Thursday, the recruits got their first exposure to their air packs, the lifeline to a firefighter.

Recruit Academy Update: Class 58

Recruit Townsend gives an update on Recruit Academy 58, which is into the Advanced EMT portion of their academy. Class 58 is scheduled to be in the field as probationary firefighters by the end of 2021!
